HONOLULU- Select charter schools on Oʻahu, Hawaiʻi Island, Kauaʻi, and Molokaʻi are accepting applications for their high-quality prekindergarten programs for this upcoming school year. The state
funded FREE pre-k program is for four-year-old keiki born between August 1, 2015 and July 31, 2016.
High-quality prekindergarten prepares children for success in kindergarten and beyond. Studies show high-quality early learning plays an important role in supporting children’s cognitive ability in language, math, literacy and social-emotional learning.
