Sheryl is a graduate of Waiʻanae High School and the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa where she earned a B.A. in Journalism with a minor in Political Science. Sheryl was a career journalist working at KHON2 News for 25 years. Sheryl was the Assignment Manager and also worked as a general assignment reporter, covering the police beat, courts, Action Line, elections, education, and politics.
