Gabriel brings nearly six years of experience within the University of Hawaiʻi system to his role as early learning performance specialist with the Hawaiʻi State Public Charter School Commission.
He began his career as an administrative assistant and teacher with the Curriculum Research and Development Group (CRDG) before joining the College of Education’s ECE³ Project, where he spent more than four years advancing from administrative and technical support specialist to program specialist. In these roles, he supported contract development, grant compliance and reporting efforts focused on improving the quality and compensation of Hawaiʻi’s early childhood education workforce.
Gabriel now applies this experience to support the Commission’s early learning initiatives and its commitment to quality education across Hawaiʻi.
